All of us who have shy kids (mine is Yali) know the huge difference between what our kids are capable of when they feel safe and when they feel overwhelmed. When no one is watching beautifully illustrates that gap. As a shy kid myself, I could totally identify with the theme. I loved the value of a best shy friend celebrated in the book. Together two shy friends can be not shy at all.
